I load out tomorrow for a dedicated to Raeford. It's a decent turnaround. Hope to get a long run when I get back next week.

Took my 10 in Chillicothe. Got the last parking spot rolling in late. Will decide if I want to stay at the little pilot at the 220 or stay further out as I'm rolling today.
I need more coffeescythe08 Thanks this. -
Did the ole drop and hook in Raeford and made it back up to Chillicothe. Taking my 10 here and plan on making Markham in the early afternoon.
Orange713 Thanks this. -
It isn't looking like a good system run this week. I will barely get 1800 miles if Cincinnati really does give me the short run to University Park. A lot of sitting this week and around 50% empty miles.
Last week I grossed 1780. This week will probably be mid 15s. Might just say to hell with it and have them send me home the middle of next week. Then I can run dedicated out of the home terminal for a while before I run the system again.Orange713 Thanks this. -
Hydraulic line forfthe internal valve broke while unloading. Got 2.25 breakdown pay, so I will hit just over 1600. Not a good paycheck, but it was an off week.
Load out of Elwood in the morning and run to WV. I'll probably catch a short run out of Baltimore and head for the house. A long weekend of BBQ and beer sounds about right.RockinChair and scythe08 Thank this. -
How did you end up fixing the line? Glad you're still blogging away, buddy.

I keep plugging away. It's a good way to work handle frustration or share the good weeks. Glad there are many more good weeks .scythe08 Thanks this. -
BTW, my son has two weeks of school left. His TWIC and HAZMAT are done, so he's all set for the tanker life.
scythe08, Orange713, RockinChair and 2 others Thank this. -
It's been a good week. After the run to Martinsburg, I got tank washed to Richmond and then sent to pick up in Suffolk. I'm running two loads between Suffolk and Greensboro to close out the week. That's a solid 270 a day.
Odds are I tank wash back to the barn Friday. -
It appears to be a little slow in High Point. I have been running decent but there seem to be a lot of trucks on the yard midweek.
I ran Plaquemine Sun-Thurs. McIntosh Sat-Mon and N Chicago Wed-Fri.
N Chicago may be into Sat. Sitting in De Motte In getting a trailer spring replaced. Been told they can load me later today or first thing in the morning.
First pic good spring. Second pic bad spring. Thank you crumbling infrastructure.
scythe08, Smut and Mortarmaggot Thank this.
