Is there any reason you can't just sell your daycab and buy a sleeper truck?PE_T Thanks this.
-
That's backwards I've only heard of doing it the other way around. Except when guys were stretching them out and putting big custom sleepers in them. Is that what your doing?
-
I jus paid my truck off I put a lot of money in this truck already I don’t wanna sell it just wanted to add a small customer sleeper
-
Yea I wanted to make a custom sleeper but nothing big just adding a small size sleeper
-
Well a small size sleeper would be those you see in the oilfields like the coffin size... just enough room to sleep and store a few things
-
Yea that’s I was thinking I didn’t want a big sleeper I won’t even be out all the time just need it for the times I am out

I suppose a very small section could be added without having to change anything else on the truck. Otherwise, expect a big bill for converting it. I think car carrier semi trucks have a detachable sleeper berth, or it looks like it. If you can find a truck like that in a junk yard, you may be able to put it on your truck.
