Take the time to cut a large block of wood to wrap around trans and catch both sides, that way it can’t slip, Small plate is between engine block and bracket, must be sacrificial dissimilar metals plate, maybe to keep block from corroding ?

I used the anti-walk bushings on my Classic. They’re a harder ride, for sure. Holding up well though. Just noticed my super duper poly motor mounts are shot already, after 5 yrs. I’m going back to original rubber. I like the anti-walk idea, as Freightliner has a problem with that. But I stand corrected on poly being better, for all apps.

This holds true with a poly carrier bearing bushing. Lasts for ever however.Rideandrepair and wore out Thank this.
