Okay. So I will give him the benefit of the doubt, but I can think of numerous reasons why a charge and arrest was not immediately forthcoming of the incident. I imagine CR England was made aware soon after by the trainee or the cops looking for him, and fired him or suspended him pending an investigation. Probably shut off his fuel card and he fled home then quickly moved to Watkins

Not speaking on the merits of this case as I know nothing about it.
In the cases that I have been involved with the student ( teacher and underage student thing) makes the accusation to the school in October, who then "investigated " to see if the claim had merit before notifying police just before Christmas. Warrent for the schmuck wasn't issued until early March if I remember correctly. The wheels of justice turn slowly in my experience. -
IDK, Roger.....if somebody raped me, his tail would be in jail shortly afterwards. IDK, maybe women have a different mindset (go thru channels and whatnot).
-
But you're also not the type to get abused in that situation, or any other for that matter.
People who use their position of authority to coerce sex will back off in a hurry and claim "misunderstanding" when their intended victim fights back. CRE students are on that truck for 6 months earning a pittance. They're not the brightest for starting with CRE in the first place, what happens when the "trainer" says "perform for me or you fail?" These schmucks know how to groom people to make them accomplices to their own rape.
Then there is the fact that most rapes and sexual misconduct go unreported.
Reporting of Sexual Violence Incidents | National Institute of Justice
Main reasons for non reporting or delayed reporting are:
- Self-blame or guilt.
- Shame, embarrassment, or desire to keep the assault a private matter.
- Humiliation or fear of the perpetrator or other individual's perceptions.
- Fear of not being believed or of being accused of playing a role in the crime.
- Lack of trust in the criminal justice system.

I can think of other reasons in this type of situation that are more related to logistics, timing, and location than those noted here.gentleroger Thanks this.

And you, being the manly man, did nothing about it?

Let’s say @Wicked Good was 13 when he started trucking and has trucked for 50 years.
He wouldn’t be eligible for disability now since he is eligible for Social Security.
Right ? -
I don't know those rules. If it's a union pension disability thing, it probably wouldn't make a difference. If it's different I think that that goes through social security but yeah I think at retirement age normal ss takes over.
Not sure I'm grasping your point, is it that this guy is channeling his inner x1 and just making everything up?ZVar Thanks this. -
these days ‘rape’ is simply a woman who changed her mind afterwards
maybe 1 in 50 allegations are factual -
I totally get what you are saying and, furthermore, I don't think anyone should be convicted of rape in this day and age without DNA evidence.
But one look at that growth on the guy's eyebrow and I start to think whatever happened wasn't consensual.
He just recently got sentenced. Here's the article.
