That's the really hilarious part. With 150 mile exemption, if it's still here, from shipper and receiver the produce guys had, e log made 900 mile days possible.

You need to have DTNA login id so you can buy Diagnosticlink software. Getting DTNA login is easy. You need to be registered owner of freightliner truck(VIN needed). There is about a month of waiting time for DTNA id. The topic has been discussed many times in this forum

I've done legal, elog 700 mile days. So these produce guys could theoretically do Thousand Mile days. Which is absolutely silly. 1000 miles a day was about the limit that me and my girlfriend were willing to do when we were running team last year, it was pretty exhausting even for two people.

I wouldn't call something with a months-long waiting list easy...

Man you are asking the wrong guy on logs, cause they've changed it so much and so many times, I'm not sure what is what.

But they did have an exemption for produce haulers that allowed them 150 air mile radius from shippers and receivers.

It's all about safety, until it starts costing shareholders millions of dollars. Then not so much.

    Agriculture Exemption Diagrams

This is pretty clear but pretty much a 150 mile radius from the farm or packing shed is exempt

Well that was informative. Now there is a detail that I noticed ....

However, Congress has prohibited FMCSA or its State partners from using Federal funds to enforce the requirement that commercial motor vehicle operators use electronic logging devices (ELDs) to track their hours of service (HOS) while transporting either livestock, as defined under 7 U.S.C. § 1471, or insects through September 30, 2019.

Does that mean as long as federal funds are not used then DOT officers (other than federal and there are very few of those) could still enforce ELD / HOS rules?

An update on the speed sensor advise: it doesn't work on Cascadias. The derate is rev-limited.

Source - I got derated again and tried it. No speedometer but still won't go past 5mph.
