Caught Shipper/Broker trying to sneak into my trailer 20K lbs of extra cargo

    I called broker and asked for double pay, ended up having to cancel the load, and drove 900miles empty... no replacement loads available on Sat and had to be back home by the end of the weekend. Broker sent me a ridiculous rate conf of $150 for truck not use, what to do next?

    Small claims court, slam dunk $2500 awarded case for you. Then plaster it all over social media so company doesn't try it again. My guess? They do this every day and get away with it.
