I was in Arizona at Danny's Oasis? Can't remember the place. It's a pay to park place. I had one of the spots underneath protected from the sun. I was outside and saw a truck and it said Hawaii on it? I was like what????? The driver was outside later and I went and talked to him and yes, he's from Hawaii.

He ships his truck and trailer over here every year for the art shows. He hauls to the art shows. His trailer was unreal inside. Climate controlled, moisture and all computerized. The climate and humidity vents were all over the place unlike a refer. No latches on any of the doors. Opened a special way. Reinforced doors, bullet proof glass, special tires and lots of other stuff. Pretty nifty setup. Not sure how many months he does it but that's it then back to Hawaii.

You are making a lot of assumptions here, and I'll talk about whatever I like, thanks.

I'm not even sure if it's just "inferior," but Japanese has a term called "Gaijin" which really means "outside person" or "foreigner." It's a pejorative term... I think they also discriminate against anybody who is not of a direct Japanese bloodline. So yeah, they might be 'hospitable' to some degree, on the surface, but a Gaijin could never truly be fully assimilated into the society.

You mentioned refugees; I think, even ethnic Koreans who were born and bred in Japan still don't have the same rights as full-blooded Japanese citizens... but someone feel free to fact check me on that one. I think they still hate each other from WW2, along with years of other conflict, to be honest.

I don't know if he had any guns. He was empty at the time. He just got off the boat in California and was heading somewhere empty to pick up. I was sort of hoping he was on this forum and saw the title Hawaii

I grew up hating the Japanese because of their history in World War II.

14 years ago I took my first trip on Japlan airlines to visit. On the flight over I sat next to a man who was friendly and so started to turn my mind around. Then the next five days in Tokyo I found the people to be friendly and very helpful when I would stop them for directions. I would not have that kind of friendliness in New York City.

So with that experience I've softened my outlook on the Japanese, although I still wish to some day visit the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum and and write "You asked for it" in their museums guestbook; no humor or offense intended.

I've lived in China for nine months and traveled all throughout East Asia. Most Asians have a lot of prejudices and racism towards others, eapecially
towards their own countrymen; i.e. the lighter skin ones look down upon the dark-skinned ones. It very much surprised me of their superior attitudes towards others, even towards America.

My main point for posting in this thread is to say I also wish to move to Hawaii. I visited there last year to learn whether a family of four and survive on one income. It feels to me a lot like being in the Philippines, just more developed. As I'm friendly to all I did not experience any of the "anti-white" mentality others have talked about, although I was expecting it.

I'm married to a Filipina so I wonder if my children, who look more Filipino than white, would still have the same problems as white American kids have had. I wish to hear any thoughts.

    Thanks
