And he can never get a decent job again because, well the minute it's not unicorns and rainbows he runs.

My personal sense of integrity says "Deliver the load you agreed to", regardless of the fact that they are scumbags, then walk.

At least that way you can look yourself in the mirror knowing YOU held up your end of the bargain and your karma bucket is clean and they can't say "Joe Smith abandons loads".

It has nothing to do with unicorns and rainbows. I delivered the load and drove the truck back. The owners were pissed but the dispatcher told me I was making the right decision by leaving. That tells me everything I need to know about the true colors of the owners. I've stuck jobs out for 1-2 years under the hope they get better and they never did so I don't do it anymore. Thanks for your positivity and all knowing attitude.

You showed integrity. Doing the right thing when no one else was watching. Now...EFF them...you were a professional, you did the job right. No one can say you aren't a pro.

I hope you get a good spot with a good company that will appreciate you.

    Be safe out there.

Can drivers access those sites to see what employers list, or are they for companies only?

The fair credit reporting act allows you one free report per company, per year. If you want to check more than once a year, you have to pay a fee.

    COBB2070 Thanks this.

Sounds like you did it the right way. You can hold your head up, and you denied them a reason to badmouth you. Well done.
