D13 new cylinder head seeping oil

It's a shop in High Point Nc. They are known for rebuilding engines. How can they warp the head since we got it new (remanufactured) from volvo?

 

It's not done at a volvo dealer. But the shop who did the rebuild stand behind their work. The only thing is they will have to take it to the machine shop to have it checked out. If it is the head and not just the head gasket at least they will have proof that the head is bad and they can get another head on warranty. From what i heard if it was done at volvo they would not open it again. They would just paint it with green paint to keep the oil from leaking. That's what i heard they do anyway.

 

Yes. We replaced everything except the crankshaft. Parts were like this: overhaul kit $5700, new head $3700, 6 pack injectors $2600. But these are my prices. I have some connections at the dealer for parts so i got a pretty good discount for the parts. Labor i can.t tell you because i did not pay any labor. Had an agreement with owner of the shop. But from what i know from him labor is around $4000 for rebuild.
