    Hey guys,
    I'm considering leasing instead of buying. This is not my first truck. I just want to try something else. I also want to discuss rates so I know what I'm in for. I want inputs from guys that have actually done it.

    On a 5 year, 500k mile full maintenance lease, I'd think a person should expect to pay around 3k a month, plus an average of $0.10 a mile.

    That's about what the last company I worked for is paying on Volvo/KW sleeper trucks.

    Thats not bad but I have a quote of $3000 running 10,000 miles/month.

    That's with owner operator specs? Refrigerator, inverter, double bunks, etc?

    Double Bunk. Truck doesn't come with refrigerator or inverter. They will however install it if you provide it. Shop time of 2 hours at $60/hour.

    So $3K a month for 10K miles? Or $3K month plus $0.06 mile? What is the extra $0.06 mile for?
