Central Transport linehaul

I’d love to have that run. Your a lucky man. My choice was the Southwest for the move but my family settled on the Inland Northwest. Beautiful but very harsh in the winter. Chaining sucks.

 

Interesting. I've never seen them pull those. A lot of times they haul Air Freight in those large containers that come off the planes in those types of trailers. I wonder if Central does that kind of work out there.

 

I’ve seen that style trailer in California and Washington. Maybe a western thing?

 

Could be automotive, from Mexico maybe? Certain auto runs use those trailers.

 

Oh make no mistake, it's not permanent, it's that time of year, drivers are starting to take their vacations, so as the one and only extraboard driver, I am covering the vacations, doesn't bother me in the slightest either, nice to have a break from running wild for a change.

 

No not a moving van, they look like this trailer right here, but have rib sides instead, I will try to take some pics this coming week of them.

 

Yeah, I was thinking maybe tires, like a big tire company account or something.

 

Those look like those roller bed air cargo trailers I was talking about. They just slide those giant air freight sled things into them. I'll try to find a picture of those things I'm talking about. Places like Forward Air will load trucks straight from the plane that way.
