Nothing bad at all about him, My trainer had him and we killed the miles. I think he’s very good. But I think I was dealing with another dispatcher due to him being on vacation.

 

No I like Jim. He’s been great. I’m new so I’m still learning how to communicate with dispatch. I think I was dealing with another dispatcher tho because Jim was on vacation.

 

How do you guys find all this out I had no idea he was on vacation and only reason I know he is retiring is because I ran into some random driver who asked who my dispatcher was? I’m so fricking out of the loop! Lol

Edit: I hope my new dispatcher whomever it is at least gives me their name I will promise not to call them like I didn’t call Jim.

 

Opie always use to send out a freeform on the Qualcomm then sit back and listen for the collective "F" to filter in thru the windows.

I just assumed every dispatcher did.

Dock 82 between 2 trailers....lets just say hes irritated right now lol. Gave him 30mins to try it then I hopped in got it in in 5mins lo . Had to show him I knew what Im doing I was worried I couldnt get it in there and Id look like a ####### lol

 

Question for you old dogs. Why do people drop loaded trailers at the Trenton terminal instead of dropping them in Wayne Madison yard. All that real estate just looks empty.

 

Last we were all told was we werent using Wayne Madison anymore except for glass loads. Used to be any beer load brought to Trenton was dropped in Wayne Madison and any miscellaneous loads were dropped at the terminal. Then they shut Wayne Madison down and started having everything taken directly into Miller. Im hoping eventually we go back to us OTR guys never having to see that brewery. Everything used to be done at Wayne Madison and when it was Millis only it was fantastic. 15min drop n hooks everytim . Then they started letting outside carriers drop on our side and things went straight to fn hell quick to the point I refused to go to Wayne Madison especially with a student.

 

Awfully quiet in here past few days...Im guessing that means noones been in Trenton haha. We are headed for Memphis from Rochester with a re load to St Cloud MN for Tuesday morn. Should be home for the holiday sometime tomorrow night.

 

On my way home now with a 5 stop John Deere load for next week going to Ny and New England want to switch?
