Really he didnt miss anything for $2.60 a mile coming to Carolinas. There's lots of loads being offered up for $1.20 out of NC right now and sub $2 a mile up into the northeast getting covered.

Ok here's a good WHY THE F WOULD HE DO THAT scenario.
Bear ( Bare?) with me now.
Brought this load up here. Easy paid good. Didn't really even want to come. One of the reasons I did is there's a REALLY good one, empties like 3 miles from the house. Doesn't pick til Friday.
SO
Another guy I do a bunch for has one Portland to Idaho like $3200. Picks tomorrow. 660 miles.
Now, I can sit here and pot around. Sit here and do nothing. Or DH back from Idaho a few thousand richer.
