Really he didnt miss anything for $2.60 a mile coming to Carolinas. There's lots of loads being offered up for $1.20 out of NC right now and sub $2 a mile up into the northeast getting covered.

The Carolinas weren't that bad this week according to DAT. A lot of freight coming out. It looked like a pretty strong market.

Ok here's a good WHY THE F WOULD HE DO THAT scenario.

Bear ( Bare?) with me now.

Brought this load up here. Easy paid good. Didn't really even want to come. One of the reasons I did is there's a REALLY good one, empties like 3 miles from the house. Doesn't pick til Friday.

    SO

Another guy I do a bunch for has one Portland to Idaho like $3200. Picks tomorrow. 660 miles.

Now, I can sit here and pot around. Sit here and do nothing. Or DH back from Idaho a few thousand richer.

    What would you do? Why?

What are you talking about some DAT nonsense? I'm talking about today and tomorrow working on booking something. The loads aren't paying worth a #### in Greensboro, Charlotte, Raliegh or wherever, take your pick none of them currently are markets in a truck's favor.

You must be a broker. It's a very weak market for trucks.

That is exactly what happened to me yesterday. I asked 1,500 for 550 miles broker told me that he sell those loads for 900 and was willing to pay me 1200 . I said nope . Later that day , I meet the guy who took the load for 1100.
    What you do ????
