I got a seat belt ticket in my pickup, I am talking a seat belt ticket, the fine was 15 buck donation to the fire dept.
When it came time to renew the insurance on my log truck, it shows up as a safety violation and they tried to double my premiums. This is the ONLY violation on my record period.
I had to change companies, but still took a 3000 a year hit, for a freaking seatbelt. I figure over the 5 years before that ticket drops off, that 15 buck ticket will cost me 15 grand, just on my log truck, no cargo or anything besides 1 mil liability and limited to a 100 mile radius.
I just started running my road truck so just leased on full insurance through them cost me 5600 a year total, including 2 mil, comp cargo, the whole 9 yards. I hate insurance companies. lol -
My god. I hear you I hate them too. Lol

Well have not filed a claim with them. Saved me 1200 a year I think it was and better coverage. -
I would agree too with a $1200 yearly savings. No doubt.jamespmack Thanks this.

OOIDA has high quotes like $300 a month for Physical and Non-Trucking, bobtail. With anything showing on record it will definitely double that the least!
