applying to Mercer as O/O, sent picture of my title they wanted it to be scanned. They said they could not read the whole thing, but the picture was clear, everything visible. Is that normal? Anyone had the same experience please chip in. Thanks always.

Likely it's something as stupid as they need it in PDF format and not jpg from the picture.
Even if not, well a camera on a phone isn't the best way to transfer a document. Most of the time it works, but when it comes to state bureaucracy it's best to have it exactly like the state wants it. Best bet to me would be to fax it to them if they allow that. -
I run a computerized office, even though I'm a small business. Probably because I already had a career running a department within a big business. I want everything - receipts, contracts, everything scanned. Pictures, no matter how clear area pain in the butt to deal with on multiple levels....storage, if you ever need a lawyer to look at anything, etc...this is the way most businesses run nowadays.back street slider, Mikaela16 and 1951 ford Thank this.

If you use a scanner app like cam-scanner you will be fine. The photos you take look good to you but on the recieving end they are not always clear

CamScanner works great and it's easy to use.
rollin coal and Sisbro Thank this. -
I forgot about CamScanner! It does work great!

As a business owner I won't accept pictures of paperwork. A scan must be in pdf form so it's easier to find and searched. Must companies will accept scanned, but must be pdf, doc or related file, not a pic extension. I also agree that you can't beat camscan for its price and features.

Tiny fax..for iOS and android as well.

I second camscanner app. It's free and works awesome. Just make sure you take a clear pic in good lighting. It will format your pic into a pdf file which is probably what they want anyways. I use it to turn in all of my paperwork and haven't needed an actual scanner for documents in several years now. Ain't smart phones grand!?
Cat sdp, exhausted379 and Sisbro Thank this. -
I used to use CamScanner (even bought the premium version), but I have switched to the Adobe Scan app; also free.
Cat sdp Thanks this.
