Does any1 know how big the reliable carriers inc fleet from Canton MI is? Ive been trying to collect everything i can about this company they are such cool trucks. We c nothing that big on the road in New Zealand. So far i have got over 400 images of their rigs for a number of website including Hankstruckpictures just wish i could find more. Are there anyother companies that go to this extent of customization with the large sleepers and the likes? does any1 have any personal photos of reliable's trucks that they would not mind sharing?

I am not sure how big they are now, they used to have just under 90 trucks. I used to work the same auto shows, races and classic shows they worked. I have hauled a couple of their trailers that they could not cover, my favorite was a load of classic Harleys and Indians i picked uo in their Phoenix yard and took to the MI yard. I know for a while they had a hard time keeping drivers in their trucks. But all the drivers new eachother 'cause they worked the shows together and if you were not up to snuff you did not work there long

Thanks for the reply. An Artical for the Australian Truckin Life Magazine for from May 2000 said they were about 300 combinations with 200 closed units and nearly 100 conventional car trailers and a number of flat beds

Safer says 222 power units . A 15.4% vehicle out of service rate is surprising .

my brother in law is upper management of the mi terminal, what kinda info are you lookin for?
-
Could u ask him if he has any magazine articals on the company and any good pictures of their trucks
-
That 15.4% out of service thing is probably due to the upgrades they put on those trucks. These are no ordinary trucks, they are rolling apartments!

their yard looks like a part shop sometimes but they are always upgrading the tractor,(suprising how crappy some of the trailers are considering the value of most of their loads) pretty trucks even if I don't like the color schnieder orange, I know most of the drivers that i have met are a pretty good bunch of guys

let him know the dispatchers can do a pretty good job of ignoring you when you are standing at the window in Canton, when none of the bosses are around and they do not reconise(?) you

can anyone give me some info on reliable? i really want to put my application in with them but i dont want to go into the terminal here in phoenix without most of my ducks in a row. thanks
