Yeah. They held me on there this morning for 5 minutes. No lie. I was like, WTH?! Finally got the green light and was off. But, they were holding everything for a long time.

That will take you to front door.MidWest_MacDaddy, ExtremeUnction and Silverdriver Thank this. -
That happens to me sometimes. I probably will get a level one in of the ports. They like to set up at all the ports. They can get you going in or going out. They just had a blitz a couple months ago.

I just had this discussion with CN... if you use the 166th St address your GPS will take you to the Markham Courthouse Parking lot...
I suggested they change it to 2900 w 167th... which takes you to the road (Richmond mentioned by @Finfn1372) that becomes the entrance yo the Yard.
I know this is just my personal pet peeve, again, but Garbage In Garbage Out... if we had better data (addresses) then we as Drivers could avoid getting into, and hopefully safely getting out of, difficult situations.
Just my 2 cents worth.Silverdriver, RebelChick and JohnBoy Thank this. -
You should see some of the directions my company gives. Like some illiterate, inbred driver was tasked with giving customer directions. They will get you there, but you have to decipher them first.

So today was a freaking waste of a day... waited around for a load... finally got one going to California... awesome...
Rolled up with a Reefer... “is that a roll door?” ... yes... “sorry, we don’t accept roll doors only swing”.... UGH ... (yes, both Abilene AND Coyote got feedback on that)
Return to the Yard... only two 54xx trailers... one loaded, one with a flat... run it down to the trailer shop... ok, we will get on it... which they did... but an hour into it they said, we can’t let this unit leave... we found too many issues as we changed the tire... (great)
So they say there are some empties down at Sabra... so I go there... guard says “no empties here”.... call back in... yup, there should be three... so I go looking... found it...
Roll to Nabisco... finally... I thought it was clean... I still think it was clean... nope... dust the floor (I exaggerate a bit).... so I haul my fat hiney up into the trailer... sweep up the dust and a few wood chips...
Now I have to wait 3-4 hours to get a live load...
I will probably feel better after I get halfway to California but at this moment... I will never return to nabisco... we pay people by the hour for this stuff... or drop a trailer and go back to the Yard for the next job...
8+ hours for 33 miles... ya, not happy.
(Ya, I’ll get something for my time but I would much rather be OTR so both driver and company are making some money.)
