My current insurance agent has given me a quote for renewal. She said that everyone’s quote has gone up this year, and that she was surprised mine didn’t. I’m thinking she’s only saying it so I would renew again with them. My insurance went down just a few hundred dollars.

Mine went up almost $200 yr for everything. I haven’t looked yet to see exactly why, I’m sure it’s Public Liability.

I can let you know next month when I renew. I got a speeding ticket almost a year ago and was worried mine would go up. Last week went to BMV and got an abstract and it's not even on there.
Midwest Trucker, Rideandrepair and PE_T Thank this. -
Mine went up 8% last year, not sure yet about this year but I have about 10 quotes coming in for my July renewal. Trying to get ahead of it and not take any chances.

mine is down because I lowered truck and trailer values. the premium is $8100

Just had my first renewal (second year of authority). My agent got some quotes back that were significantly higher than Year 1 (roughly $3,000-$5,000). She then got a quote from Progressive just to see where they came back at. Ended up being about $3,000 less than Year 1 while adding a trailer interchange policy.
PE_T Thanks this. -
I just got an online quote today from Progressive. As usual, they’re asking for about 30k, which is a few thousand dollars less than what they quoted me last year. I tried tweaking the auto-quote calculation, but the quote is still very high.adayrider Thanks this.

What did you put for your radius? I remember Progressive being very sensitive to that and it making a big difference.PE_T Thanks this.
