Oh the nuts. They come out at night. They talk about that full moon.

One time the Cross had a bad fatal or something ALL of us were kicked off by the law at the end of the GWB.

12 blocks of housing. EVERY one takes 10 ninutes of stop sit and wait. People went from cab to cab to beg. They made a KILLING that night.

Doesn’t the BQE cut across Brooklyn? Or do you mean the center?
To get to Long Island, I usually take 278 off the NJT, across Staten Island, over the Verrazano, stay on 278 (BQE) to 495 and take that to Melville, LI. Usually the same in reverse. I find it better that the GWB, xBronx Exp, Throgsneck way.
I take it those 2 low bridges on the BQE aren’t in the section I’m taking. There are 2 12’6”? Underpasses but my 13’6 easily clears.... although my GPS ####s a brick when I do it.
    Thanks for the NYC info.
Just looked. One look to be 12’4” but appears it’s the left lane. Right lane clears easily

Yeah yellow sign means you got 1 foot so a 12'6 means 13'6, don't take the risk anyway. BUT! A WHITE SIGN means that 12'6 is 12'6 not an inch lower or higher. Beware the white clearance sign

BQE cuts through downtown, Prospect Expressway-Ocean Parkway cut across BK.
