I have an acquaintance that works for Arrow. He claims to get all the miles he can run; legally or otherwise. Last time I talked to him he said he ran close to 4000 the week before and that his dispatcher doesn't care as long as his logs 'look' good. It could just be a trucker tale, who knows. Also, their tractors look nice but the trailers I have seen look like complete garbage. I suppose, like any company, it's what you make of it and how well you get along with your dispatcher.

"This is my winch bar. There are many like it, but this one is mine. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me my winch bar is useless. Without my winch bar, I am useless."
That is funny.
I actually felt useless without mine the other day.
Finished tarping a load of crank shafts, then I realized my winch bar was somewhere under the tarps. I had left it there after chaining them down.
Had to find another one to tighten down my chain on my spare boards.
I run a skateboard regionally. I run into allot of TMC drivers at back haul locations. Not too many at the forge, but a few haul in there.
See arrow drivers at times getting steel plate loads. TMC allot on Pipe. Me......steel out, whatever back lol.Dr. Venture and Drive-a-Mack Thank this. -
Stay out of their Regional Operation. Way to much deadhead. They would run me with a cheap load from Laredo to Alb. N.M. and MT back. Alot of miles, round trip, and not much $.

This is my winch bar. There are many like it, but this one is mine. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me my winch bar is useless. Without my winch bar, I am useless.-you are the man!!! great quote!!!!!
i ran w. arrow from march 06 to sept 07, and i'll tell ya what.. the tractors on the OTR fleet are pretty well cared for and look great, but the KW t-600s are heavy, match em up w. those old steel tandem trailers, and you'll spend the whole day on your qualcomm trying to explain to dispatch why it is that you weighed 3,000#s more than a FL columbia lol
i was consistantly running 3200mi/wk on the OTR fleet, woulda stayed in it, but my wife was havin medical probs, bein home every 6wks wasnt enough, and the only options were the masury OH regional or dallas regional, and like some folks have mentioned, arrow regionals deadhead ALOT.
it killed me that i had to quit, the money was there (as long as you kept things on the up and up, they would run you as hard as you wanted to run (chicaco to seattle and laredo to DC seemed to come my way alot)
bottom line, if you can afford the time out from home, run w. em, you can make good money w. em, you will get dirty (omg its flatbed, you thought you could wear a white shirt??), you will have many nights where you tarp, crawl into your sleeper and pass out, shower in the morning and run like the wind, but ive got nothing bad to say about anyone there, as long as you do whats expected and be straight up honest w. everyone about everything (like we should all have been raised) you can see the country w. these guys and make the money, i had several over dimensional loads w. them.. that lil extra $$ is NICE!!!Baack and Drive-a-Mack Thank this. -
You show me an arrow driver that ran 4k miles in one week and ill sell you my ocean front condo in ohio.
