My Omnitracs died. Any idea how much to fix?

There's gotta be a way to reinstall the OS image via USB along the lines of how you perform an upgrade on these things:

So why dont you go to an app based ELD if thats what you want?

Its what my co runs with most issues being driver error. I have it on my phone and my tablet, both have mounts in the truck and work well.

 

I am glad I can still use the old tried and true, loose leaf eld. Man that just looks like a pain.

 

I just had a great idea. Serialized paper logs that you buy like checks. They'll know if they're legit and if ones missing they'll be able to figure it out right quick. That way y'all can stay on paper logs as long as you want.

 

Because the only reason anyone would use the overpriced Omnitracs stuff. It's required by the company he's leased on to.

 

Heck, I have my own logs and inspection forms printed, just have them print duplicates. lol There is always more than one way to skin a cat. lol
The signs on my truck even flip, I can go north under one set of numbers and come back under another. lol
