That's a dumb place for a truck stop, the next exit going south is exit 93 in Ct which has a brand new truck stop.

The residences of the graveyard wont complain. Maybe the ghost will be able to keep out the lizzies. Build the truckstop. Just put in a nice placard to remeber the forgotten that are burried there. Maybe a nice rose garden or something. Probably more than the relitives do anyway.

No such thing. You can never have enough truck stops these days especially on the east coast.
losttrucker Thanks this. -
The appropriate thing to do is to move any remains found to another location, preferably nearby. At least that's what they did when they widened Hwy 35 in Eatontown, NJ back in the 1960's.
Don't they need to have an archaeologist or a geologist or somebody come in and do a dig to see if there are any remains there. All this speculation is kinda pointless until they know for sure. -
Mr. Ed How can you say that is a dumb idea, yes there is a new truck stop right next door in Ct. but stop and yhink how much cheaper the fuel would be there. There is also a so called truck stop at ex. 5 that robs you for fuel if you know your way around you can find it much cheaper. Build the Loves and then maybe they will build one in Mass.

How would you like it if they dug up the remains of YOUR ancestors and discarded them all in the name of "Progress"?
Happened to some of MY ancestors who were disinterred in Colorado Springs in the 1970's. The city lost ALL records of where they moved the bodies to....IF they moved them at all. Residents in the neighborhood reported discovering graves when excavating for their in-ground pools for years afterward.
