    Yeah, possibly... I will yank the belt off in some daylight over the next day or two and check over all of the pullies.

    I have put about 100k on it since this post... It still has a whine to it. I had the front of it torn apart for an oil leak, so I had everything checked out and re-timed. It has had an overhead run, along with a lot of other misc maintenance things. It hasn’t gotten any worse... If anything, it may have *slightly* improved when I had the timing/front gearing work done, but minimally... My mechanic wasn’t overly worried about it and mentioned that it definitely wasn’t the loudest he had heard. The truck runs great...

    Okay thank you that's too bad I was hoping you had a quick fix I have the same with my truck runs good pulls great just has an annoying loud howl that doesn't seem to effect anything

    My 2013 isx occasionally made that weird winy noise and had forgot about until now ...had it overhauled 6 months ago haven't heard it since .

    Be sure to feed the driver really well one day, morning and night. Then ply him with strong drink and women in stage shows.

    All of that will go away by morning. He he he.

    Teasing aside, I have no clue. It's not often a tractor whined or howled. They usually just die.

    I have the same problem recently I don't know where that sound is coming from some ideas or suggestions please... my friend said can be the fuel pump but am not sure ..
