Hi everyone I have a 2007 Freightliner Classic. Before my truck was running fine. It was running for 5 hours and after I shut down the the truck like u normally would. I started the truck up 15 minutes later and there was no turbo boost. After that I checked everything and we couldn't find the problem. Then when I opened the air pipe from the actuator. There was no air coming there. After that I changed the vpod and the truck was running fine. But again after 5 hours the truck shut down and there was no turbo boost. I went to the mechanic shop and he checked the air tank and vpod air is all good. Then he checked the harness for the vpod and there was no problem. Then I changed the harness.i checked the ECM to vpod and everything was working fine. But the same problem still occurred which is that there is no boost. I changed the vpod again and the truck ran fine but after 500km it happened again and there was no turbo boost. I have checked everything.i also changed the turbo boost sensors as well but nothing helps. If anyone has any idea on what u should do.please let me know by replying to this post.

    I have a 2005 freightliner Columbia with a Detroit s60 14L
I being having problem with the truck . it chokes at times when am pressing the gas only on high gears. I have to play with the pedal on and off until it finally goes back to normal it feels like the turbo or boots goes away for a second and than it comes back to normal
I have changed everysingle component of the egr on the truck
Egr valve , vpod , turbo charge air cooler etc even the ecm but nothing still gives me the same problem it chokes .
I even changed all the harness on the truck and nothing .
There are no leaks anywhere and no engine codes at all so am thinking it has to be mechanical . The only time the truck works normal is when i unplugged the turbo speed sensor . That’s the only time it works fine . I don’t know if guy ever heart of a problem like this before on a truck . Need help please
