    No turns out Rod bearing #2 spun on me and got so hot causing the oil to vaporize and of course then expanding extremely rapidly thus blowing off the filler cap. It's pretty bad so I'm doing a crankshaft this week. Yeah.

    I know this is an old post.
    How many miles did you have on that Motor when it spun the bearing? If I may ask, what kind of oil filters did you use on that motor. The reason I'm asking is the bearing might have spun because of p-pipe blockage.
