LMAO, you have a point, while I have never (I don't think) actually wanted to kill anyone, I sure would have liked to give quite a few a little push at times.

I wish death on people on a regular basis with no sense of shame. I’m a believer in Darwinism.

Manslaughter is easy to catch if you are negligent. Speeding, hos, on the phone... etc. Is negligence. You can be charged.

Blowing a legally treaded tire, steering failure, lightening striking... not negligence.

If you knew or should have known of a defect from a pretrip... ? Negligence.

That goes for your car on the way to work also... though as a pro driver you are held to a slightly higher standard... its still a fairly high bar to be convicted so long as you are actually doing your job.

Losing control on the ice? Were you speeding? Did you know there was ice?
Were people slowing and you just kept barreling away??? Until you killed somebody?

Its our jobs to protect ourselves and the motoring public as well.

Thats not really hard to do... at least to an extent that maintains you were not being negligent.

Hypotheticals stink... but you should know most of this from school or reading the dot manual.

Drunk??? Negligent. just do your job and you will be fine.

Doesnt mean somebody else wont get you killed or kill themselves but you arent going to prison for that...:)

Man you cant go into this job and think like that. Do what you are supposed to do, pay attention at all times and you will do fine. Keep your eye on the ball, you have to trust yourself. You cant worry about that kind of stuff, if something happens it wont be your fault because you know you did what you were supposed to do. This comes from a 25 year police officer that spent most of those years on the street. I couldn't go into work everyday and make it with that mind set. Have confidence in yourself, you will be fine. That's how I made it and make it now as a driver.

    im6under Thanks this.

Most stuff is still an accident, now if you are in an accident with a fatality, you will be drug tested, and you will not want to test positive.
