I agree that some people in general go into a denial phase when it comes to cardiac emergencies. And some women and diabetics don't even have any chest pain. Not everyone has warning signs. SCA is the silent deadly killer.Thats why it called Sudden Cardiac Arrest and it kills 350k+ annually. Any age,No signs, No nothing....you just collapse. It (ventricular fib) is treated with an AED - Automatic External Defibrillator : shock box". You can buy them for around 1100 bucks online now to have in a home, business or terminal. The AHA has info on there website about helping people undertsand the importance of rapid intervention and it's free to share with whoever wants it.

Our units ran to another driver who was found in cardiac arrest behind the wheel of a jack knifed Semi Truck on I-4 in Altamonte Springs a few weeks ago. So I just wanted to explain to everyone that All cardiac emergiencies are not as obvious as one may think. May the pulse be with you.

I have been on the scene with many heart attacks. Many of these patients have NEVER had a warning. Sometimes a heart attack happens without any warnings or discomfort.

You really do not have a clue.

I can list the many times.

    One.
44 year old male. Eats right. Exercises right. Goes to the doctor for annual physical. Doctor states he is in perfect health. No medications.

On the way home from the doctors office. He has a massive heart attack and dies. The heart blew out the back side of the heart.

You can have heart attacks for no reason. Check with a doctor.
