Best company I ever worked for. If I quit this school teacher gig, Superior would be my first choice.
scythe08, ncdriver1 and EuropeanTrucker Thank this. -
How did your first year teaching go? Kids these days are an education in themselves.Metallica88 Thanks this.

What Terminal?
-
They're at the top of my list as well.

@Truemac Any interaction with the Pasadena Terminal? I'm hoping they make an exception to me living in San Antonio which is about two hours away. I'm definitely willing to stay out longer.

Majority of our runs are out-and-back, so you can easily get by the house several times a week running regional. They also do a good job of getting you home for your 34. If you want to work through the weekend, just ask. If you need an extra day off, just ask. As long as you're a good worker and don't cause problems, they'll work with you in fitting in your home life.
I've never really been out west with this company. There may be some system runs that get out that way, but I haven't heard anything about that. Best thing you can do is find the number for the terminal manager out there and speak to them personally. Superior doesnt really like to keep their drivers out for too long, but it never hurts to ask.EuropeanTrucker and KENNE1982 Thank this. -
I read he went full time teacher. Does he still pop in from time to time.
Yes we’ll see. As a military vet and spouse of active duty my family and I have been groomed to be apart from one another for long periods of time. We could handle a two hour commute/me being out for weeks in our sleep. -
He just posted a couple of days ago. You could call the terminal manager and ask for an interview.
