I think you should attempt to get a different DBL driver. Although all companies have it slow, most drivers I know are moving as fast as they want to push. Most are getting a minimum of 2500 miles and more. If your business manager is interested and know how you want to run, change em

Sounds about right! When i trained at CR England they didnt teach anything about letting the air out the airbags! Learned when i left them, got local job driving daycab, my co-worker taught me that! Makes things alot easier!

there will always be those whom get taken advantage of. You need to work for a company that listens. I did Schneider, JB Hunt and Super Service, with the latter being the worst of all. Then I found US Xpress. They actually pay their promised bonuses, etc without any begging. Home on time, every time. But, like all trucking companies, they will take advantage of you if you allow them. You cut them no slack. When they give you a 300 mile run that delivers in 4 days, you call the consignee and see if you can get it off that same day or the next morning. After you are empty, then let your dispatcher know you are waiting around. If the consignee is hesitant to take the load, let THEM know what is going on with your dispatch. Or, just call your planner and ask him or her what they have been smoking to make their mind work so stupid. Whatever you do, you DON'T take that crap lying down. Make them understand how it is. If they don't, then call the CEO or owner. I promise, that will get some serious attention. Been there and done that!!
Stay away from ompanies like Super Service and JB Hunt. You will never get ahead or win with them. -
you should file a Federal level grievance with the Transportation Department. Send the company a 10 day notice that you will be filing.

Every time I drop a loaded trailer I dump the air first then pull out.. If the trailer is empty and the height is right, I just back under it slowly until I hear the familiar click. After that I do a tug test. Then I get out of the cab hook up lines, and before raising landing gear check to see that handle is all the way in and the jaws are completely locked on the king pin.. I have only dropped one trailer, that was almost 3 1/2 yr s ago in training. My trainer expected it to happen. But I was the one who had to crank up 45000lbs dead weight, never did that again.

Is the freight for SNI picking up or is it still slow? Is anyone still sitting for 24hrs or more? I drove for SNI before and never sat for long without a load (1 hour at the most) and looking for driving for them again, but would like some info before I go back
