Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

Yes in UK they have huge problems with this. Many of saefty trucks are introduced to cope with this problem soon only econic and dennis eagle will be legal.

Germany dont need underrun protection. But i think they now require it on right since last year

No one forces bikes. But a bike is by far the fastest and easiest way to get around in a city. Every city is redesigning its streets to accommodate for bikes and buses. In many cities it is almost impossible to get around by car. Bicycle highways are being build through out the country, so cyclists can go from town to town with minimum contact to other kinds of traffic. School kids get e-bikes, so they can travel longer distances (10 miles and more) to school. And by the way, commuters do the same. With the new type of speed pedelec, they can reach speeds of up to 40 km/h (25mph).

 

My mountain bike will do 28 km/h maxed out. But I can almost climb a tree with it in low. I run out of traction before I run out of torque lol.

 

A new Tatra 8 x 8 Agritruck. This is a agricultural machine, not a normal truck.
It has a 460 HP Euro V MX-13 engine, and a 32 m³ tank, that can be replaced by a 50 m³ body for corn etc.
The tyre size is 24R20.5, which makes the truck rather wide. It has an integrated central tyre inflation system.

School bus mirrors were cool in the 60's, lots of trucks had them.
You could back up blindside around corners and see in front of the truck to.
(1965 and 1966 KW's)

Yes we have them too...... and they are useless.



Bicycle riders should ride as if their life depends on the decisions they make..... instead of thinking they own the road and it’s my responsibility to get out of their way .......
