I have two semi trucks right now. Up to recently I only had two drivers, me and another guy. One of my guys finally got a CDL, so I am thinking to get a third tractor. Just keeping track of days when "another truck would be really helpful".
Anyway, my question is, what would I expect a tandem axle Kenworth T800 daycab to weigh. There are a few at the RB auction nearby. Let's say it has a 15 liter engine, 18 speed, 46,000 rears. Thanks
Thinking about getting a third tractor... Kenworth T800 weight?

We run a very similar set up. 15 liter, 18 speed, 46k rears, heavy front ends but not sure how heavy. If you don’t get an answer I’ll send you the info from one of our trucks tomorrow when I get to work.

It would be great and thank you very much. I'm sure that the tri drive trucks a way too heavy and would rather get a tandem drive truck for nowSavageMuffin Thanks this.

Why would you consider a tri drive in Illinois?

We got day cabs with a lift axle and no lift axle, I’ll send both. On a side note we have a tri drive Canadian truck that’s pretty sweet.

This is a scale ticket for this exact truck. X15 Cummins, double frame, 244” wheelbase.
Oxbow, stwik and SavageMuffin Thank this. -
I am not really considering

@johndeere4020 , the truck I am looking at is a bit shorter and does not have a lift axle. I would guess it weighs 19-20,000?

I'd toss a guess that this weighs in close to that with chains n stuff. That's a heavy spec'd three axle.
ichudov Thanks this.
