No truck should drive over 50 mph in heavy rain

I removed my factory air horns and now my tornado sirens double as my horn. Honestly, it's a cool feeling you get when ya toot the tornado siren when you see little kid pumping his arm telling you to honk the trucker horn.

 

Get a Fiamm brand one, then you can sound like an Italian sports car.

 

If visibility is so severe you cant even do 35 you got dozens sitting right on the fog line in the break down lane (sometimes not even completely out of the right lane). I'm taking the left lane to keep distance between myself and them in case an idiot suddenly pulls back out.

 

As Im not supporting the OP here.(Although,a safew speed in certain weather is a must)....
Make sure your claim about "Drivers are gonna do their thing, Applies to DOT inspections- Late deliveries being told to come back toimorrow-Crummy Cops harrasing hm- and high repair bills on their trucks....

If I can’t maintain 45mph I’m done. Period.
I don’t play in zero visibility at all.
However you can have a rollover anywhere. The load I have now has me at 78K and she’s top heavy. I feel it getting light if I take on ramps at the posted speed.
Probably would take much to get it shiny side down. That’s why it’s all about watching how YOU drive

 

So are you saying you support driving dangerously slow in the slightest of moisture or rain,..... or you're an advocate for being irresponsible and driving at super sonic speeds during monsoon season?

Depends. If the road slopes and curves, I'm slowing down. If it's straight and flat, I'm used to the rain so I'm full steam ahead
