Does anyone have any information to share about CEVA Ground, formerly SCG (Select Carrier Group). My husband and I are looking into the possibility of leasing on with them. Thanks:biggrin_2554:

While I don't have any info on them myself, I do have a friend that drives for them. I will try to get him on here to help you out a bit.

My hubby and I haved work for SCG for a year now. SCG was the greasted company we have ever worked for. But since CEVA bought out SCG the miles have dropped from 6-7k a week to 3500-4500k a week. They sent out a message a couple of weeks ago saying we needed to resign our contracts by the 27th of this month. well needless to say we already have been approved by 2 other companies. Ceva gouged our pay. We were getting paid .97 a mile plus fuel surcharge loaded and empty. well now they want to pay us .92 loaded and .46 empty(no fuel surcharge on empty miles). We have a fleet of trucks over there and even with them running 3-4k a week we were still pulling a profit but with the new pay rate we will be losing money. Its very sad to see a good company go down the tube like it is. If you want to know more let me know.

    jfr Thanks this.

Another acquisition gone bad. Boy, there sure are not a lot of stories where the blended company does anything for the drivers, except give them the shaft.

Your buddy wouldn't go by the handle "Army" would he? My buddy James aka "Army" fits the exact scenario that you just described.

I see a lot of CEVA trailers at Chrysler plants in MI . That's a warning they may have problems ahead .
