New Training Rule on Motel stays

I'm glad you added that last, Milkman. The Petro in Las Vegas is the best truck stop in the area. Restaurant is so-so, but far better than the hook, or T/A.

Of course, if it happens to be a race weekend, you probably won't find a parking place there. . .

 

As a trainer with Werner this is new to me, Of course I'm out 3-4 weeks at a time, and as of this weekend Werner has had no qualms footing the bill for the 5 night hotel stay my students incur.

As far as the home every weekend theory, I have a good friend and former team driver on Wal-Mart dedicated with Werner, his students still get both nights hotel stay. Perhaps it is due to your area? I know the FL trainers have to drop there students off at the terminal hotel now whenever they go home unless it will make on time delivery impossible.

Where is your trainer based out of? If it's the north-east (PA Office Max) I can see why they would do this since the limit trainers are allowed to spend in the northeast is double of what we spend in the midwest.
