Smoked 30 plus years...Must have quit at least a dozen times with no luck...Bought Committ Nicotene Lozenges and they satisfied my nicotine craving and also seemed to help with that nervous oral cigarette habit. After 8 weeks I quit the Committs and have been smoke free with no desire to smoke for almost 5 years...6.75 per pack smokes in NY State also helped!!!!!

Have you tried the NEW e-cigarette devices yet? They're actually vaporizers and I think they're awesome. My husband bought one, and he went from two packs a day to 5-6 cigarettes a day. We found out about the new NJoys being sold at TA's and started doing more research.
It turns out there are some places online where you can get them cheaper than at the truckstops and get replacement parts as well. You can even buy replacement bottles of "smoke juice" to top off your cartridges. Heck, they even have places where you can buy all kinds of flavors and mix your own! The vapor is lighter than smoke, but it's just so freaking awesome. There's no smoke, no lighting it, no ashes. I can't smell it when sitting right next to him.
The four main ingredients in the cartridges are nicotine (they come in strengths of zero up to 36 mg each) propylene glycol, water, and flavor. They even have an LED light on the end of it to feel like you're smoking, so you do get the oral fixation taken care of as well.
My advice is to do as much research as you can to get the best device possible, stock up on supplies and find a flavor that works for you. So many more options than "analog" cigarettes.
