It sure seemed like he insulted me as well... see the post I responded to

Not trying to place blame anywhere mister dudley do right.. Do you not think everyone has the right to legal council in a court of law? Don't recall EVER blaming anyone.
-
Yep you got it.

You know I never thought asking a question about a "simple traffic ticket" would get me labeled as public enemy #1 an the assumption be made about me that I'm unsafe.
The thing that really cracks me up is all the years I drove triple digit trucks never got a ticket now give me one with it's nuts cut & I get a ticket. I guess anderson has never had any traffic violations
??
Also forgot to mention the cop used several four letter words including the F bomb..now I'm not saying I don't have a potty mouth from time to time but that just shows his unprofesional attitude. Brings me back to what my grandpa said about LEO. "MOST are too lazy to work & too scared to steal" My own opinon is MOST were the kids in school that everyone picked on so now there acting out at the world with there little badge. & before I get hammered for saying that I do have respect for some LEO officers, but they are like anyone else they have to earn my respect, their little outfit is not enough.Last edited: Apr 20, 2009

Ladies and Gentlemen, MT asked you six days ago, in this very thread, to chill out and refrain from insulting others. It would be in your best interests to do so.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That §§ 46.2-872, 46.2-1139 through 46.2-1142 and 46.2-1143 through 46.2-1149.1 of the Code of Virginia are amended and reenacted as follows:
§ 46.2-872. Maximum speed limits for vehicles operating under special permits.
The maximum speed limit shall be ten miles per hour less than the posted speed limit on any highway if the vehicle or combination of vehicles is operating under a special permit issued by the Commonwealth Transportation Board Commissioner in accordance with § 46.2-1139. The Commonwealth Transportation Board Commissioner may, however, further reduce the speed limit on any permit issued in accordance with § 46.2-1139.
If the posted speed limit was 70, then you were incorrectly cited (55mph)unless restricted by paragraph 1139. You can, at the least, get it reduced to less than 15mph over so it wouldn't be serious violation, Maybe even get it thrown out- Who knows?sodbuster03 Thanks this. -

D. Every permit issued under this article for the operation of oversize or overweight vehicles shall be carried in the vehicle to which it refers and may be inspected by any officer. Violation of any term of any permit issued under this article shall constitute a Class 1 misdemeanor.
Hmmm.... A Class 1 misdemeanor. A good attorney would be worth the investment. If there is such a thing as a "good attorney.sodbuster03 Thanks this.
