Gotta love breaking in a new DM. hehehehe Was out at the truck this morning doing house keeping and got a call from him. Toeing the company line he is. Letting me know that this is a Tyson load, have to run at night, blah blah blah. Wanted to tell him to go suck eggs but....we've all had to start somehwere.

Had to laugh at his rting instructions tho. Had an extra I 270 and I 70 in there that was not taking me to PA where I needed to be. Did send him a msg about that and was very nice about it since he is new. Hard to type tho when your giggling so hard. :biggrin_25522:
Anyway, almost 1400 miles out the gate and am hoping to keep it going. Ya'll have fun out there!!!!

Newtruckerwidow, Rhino is sorry he missed 1bad. I didn't leave till Monday but he called once I got home and ask if I knew what 1bad looked like. :biggrin_25513: He was wondering if he might be there. I told him I was pretty sure he was on the road. I did give him 1bad's number. I will text you Rhino's to give to hubby. (I can almost pm :biggrin_25525:) Maybe they will meet out on the road someday. :biggrin_25519: I got to meet a few of the ones that went to with Rhino. Did anyone else here finish their class in WVC on December 24th with Rhino?

No problem. 1bad won't be back this way hopefully until the middle of may for our daughter's 5th grade graduation. Check out my new icon that is our little family so you can describe 1bad to rhino.

I was so happy that they got rid of that crap hole... Now I'm just happy that I haven't gotten sent back there since we moved back in.

I know, I couldn't believe it myself. I very RARELY ever do them one of those favors because I never get anything in return from it. I guess luck was just on my side this time.

Thats why I just don't understand why solo's do the lease deal. The deadhead miles are just WAY to high.

I have got to get by WVC sooner or later. I haven't been up there in at least a month & a half now.

That will be a problem, no fright east of the big river.

Don't want to call you a lier, but I just don't believe it. Not with the way things have been going for Central the last few weeks.

Sorry dude, but I can't say that I'm surprised. I have come across more then a few solo lease drivers that say they are getting shafted.

I too have been watching construction work begin to pickup as of late. Starting to hope I get the call to go home & get my old job back at the quarry, 26 bucks an hour would really be of help to me right now.

Anyone notice the small updates they have made to the drivers sign in?????

How you get reviewed each month on idle, over speeds excessive over speeds how well you send in your 3,9 and 6!

Hi Jess, Hate to sound like a dumb newbie but im gonna. How can you speed with a governed truck. They have to let you have a little fun going down hill.

    What is a 3,9 and 6?:biggrin_2554:

doing 10hr break, pickup in the morning, DH'd to houston from irving, delivered a beer load to summit,ms. dh'd to isola get a fish load with 5 stops in il and indiana, then pickup in rochelle, il and go to redlands,ca. then get a load from sacramento to london,ky.

4 reasons, I am training, and I am on catfish dedicated, I run my ### off, and according to my D/M I ran faster solo than most of the teams he had when I was solo before I became a trainer.

It just happened when I was sitting in Irving talking to another driver, the qualcomm started blowing up with all these loads, he about lost it, his D/M told him there was no freight in TX.

I will give you a hint also, check out central's brokage website. I have been sitting being told there were no loads, only to go on and find they were brokering them out. When you call the planner and say, "Hey what about this load, or what about this other load?" And they say what load? Just say go to the broker page. I have done that several times and within minutes my wheels started moving.

    Baack Thanks this.
