I have to apologize, you still have a 134a system, I found the it on a picture from your other post.
So ignore what I said for now.... but it’s coming..... one day.Rideandrepair, KB3MMX and Intothesunset Thank this. -
While I realize you're the mechanic, understanding gas principles, no line should be cold. The refrigerant cools off in the evaporator. It is called the evaporator because the refrigerant evaporates when the pressure quickly decreases. Unless you are referring the extremely short line between the expansion valve and the evaporator.Intothesunset Thanks this.

Great thing to drive but has it’s own problems
Intothesunset Thanks this. -
Low pressure return from the Evaporator back to compressor should be cold if the AC system is working good.
That's why they condense water on that line commonly...Rideandrepair, Intothesunset and Bean Jr. Thank this. -
They have not made the electric AC transition yet in semi trucks... and...also still running 12 volt !!
Intothesunset and Bean Jr. Thank this. -
I will say the oil psi seems stupid low like a Cummins. 45 psi oil driving 1400 rpm.
And 10 psi low idle.
Also still trying to figure Arctic mode for APU use -

what world do u live in it actually turns from liquid to gas in evaporator. Stick to what u do daily cuz definitely have it wrong for ac just run the system and touch the lines in your truck and get back to me.Intothesunset Thanks this.

It will be a little while. There is a leak at the expansion valve, and due to my truck being older, there are no hoses in stock, so we have to be able to take the hose off the expansion valve without destroying it. When I accomplish that, I will let you know. In the meantime I will have to take your word for it.Rideandrepair Thanks this.
