Without getting really carried away, what little, or not so little things would you want to see offerred in a truck stop?
A while back I saw on TV, a documentary on European truck stops...some were like regular resorts, just about everything under the sun available for the trucker.
Since we are doing so much sitting...what would make the "sit and wait" a bit easier or more freindly to you?

i'm not much on today's video games. especially the ones that are in truckstops (1-2 dollars to play for a determined amount of time) or the stupid cherrymaster type.
give me a good ol' pinball machine -
If a truck stop has spacious, clean showers that is great. And have enough to handle the amount of business that comes through there. A good clean restaurant with a large menu full of choices is a plus. Prompt, courteous service goes a long way in providing a good experience. A nice movie room or drivers room to sit and relax outside of the truck. And try to separate the truckers facilities from the general traveling public would be nice too. Ample parking with marked spots for parking (lines are important, otherwise drivers have no clue how straight a truck is) and plenty of garbage cans to alleviate some of the trash that is thrown on the grounds. Although a lot of that comes from the degenerate drivers we are forced to consider peers.
HFC Thanks this.
