Has anyone else noticed that tankers seem to be the worst offenders? I haven't ever driven tanker so can't say for sure if there is a reason but I do wonder if there isn't some sort of rule of thumb against them driving in the right lane since they seem to actively avoid it.

    TruckRunner Thanks this.

Either adjust mirrors slightly outward so you have to lean forward if you want to switch lanes. On Amazon you can search for static cling window tint that only covers the top part of mirror from your window. You can roll the window down while backing up to move the tint out of the way.

was actually told by a Mega driver ,that they are taught that in school.

it's the "safest" lane to be in and "be like the rock in a stream", they will go around like water.
can you believe they TEACH it!!!???

Totally agree I know nj will ticket you for that (stay right except to pass). You are definitely right about those lights I have bright ones on the truck when I'm pulling the flatbed they come in handy to do likewise :D:D. It is to much overkill with the lights it's not like you're on some back country road by yourself. You're on the interstate with other vehicles. Simple words that are lost today courtesy & respect.

That’s how it’s done in the third world countries.
A lot of these drivers were driving donkey carts not too long ago.

It must be special to run the hammer lane for miles while getting flashed, horned and passed by loaded trucks at 20 mph faster. I have no idea what these clowns are thinking. Its been a #### show for years.

Cops are the worst offenders. It's like joping for a
The majority of new drivers are 4-wheelers in a big truck, with the same habits. AWFUL

If you ever try panic braking AND changing lanes in a tanker, say for a 4-wheeler that merges like a typical 4-wheeler, you will learn that's how you get one to roll over. You can brake hard or you can turn the wheel, not both. That might explain why tankers avoid the right lane, I'm still learning tankers.
