Janskitty do you like JCT from Prime? I am with prime and have been there from getting my CDL. have learned the Prime way but am looking at JCT. I want to own my own truck, want to run as fast or slow as i want if load time permits, no more dispatchers calling or messaging you on your fuel mileage or speeds. 2 years no lates, 3 log book violations, no tickets, no prev acidents. Doing great the Prime way. Just want to make more money and own my own truck.

Sorry u had a bad experience with JCT. All I have to say is that they got the miles to get u to run. I've been with them for 4 years and love driving for them. Your husband should turn down the load if he knows he wasn't going to make it. They don't force you and if he let them get to him that's his problem. He shouldve went to marty means or up to john himself.
My opinion is JCT isn't for everyone. If you can't run 1000 in a day or overnight then JCT isn't for you. There are times where you'll have to do that on tyson loads which is normal. Tyson does that to their own drivers too. Well I hope that your husband found a better job that works for him
As for everyone else readying this thread JCT is a good company in my opinion. If you are willing to run then come sign on. That's all I gotta saySilveradoBlue Thanks this. -
wow someone who got fired from a company then speaks well. cant be that bad place to work...i think the problem is some people forgot what trucking is......its long nights and days with little reward.... but once in your blood you cant walk away...

driver, i work for one of the largest trucking companies in the world "what can brown do for you" and sometimes i only make 700 a week after taxes so you have to not worry after tax uncle sam gonna get his part either way.

so landshark you happy with jct or what? i have not talked to JCT driver that is not happy there. yet.
-
its not good when u get pulled into that scalehouse on i 77 in virginia going southbound. and u have already backed up your logs as much as u possibly can and now your cutting into your 34 hour restart.

I have to chuckle at this one. If you read through my posts, you will see that I'm NOT driving an aerodynamic truck (unlike certain drivers that brag about their fuel economy - Alan. haha) I AM driving one of those "overpriced, chromed out dinosaurs with a C15" and I run with my foot deep in it a lot. Personally, I think I'm driving a beautiful truck. I have hardly ever seen my fuel economy drop BELOW 5 MPG! I just took 4 1/2 days off, and have over 16,000 miles for April. I'm lost as to what you were doing wrong. This job definitely isn't for everyone, but I have no complaints at all!

I still make 1000 after taxes on a 3500 mile week so its not too bad. After trk paid off it'll be a lot more. If you can't make money with JCT you can't make money anywhere else.

Haha you know where your problem is. Your mpg. At 4000 miles I can bring home at least 2k after expenses. I don't go faster than 65 and make it to every delivery ontime everytime. So its your own fault throwing your money away to trk stops. my buddy over here has a w9 and the other with a classic. They both get well over 6mpg. I have a t600 and I get almost 7. So its just keeping ur foot outta it. So don't blame the trk blame the driver.

Haha thanks for including me in ur post lol. What you doing on the site. Enjoy ur time off lol. Get ur mind off trking when ur home.
