    Whasup everyone!!!
I have a couple of questions that I need a li advice on...
1.) I rescently recieved a letter from GDMV,regarding surrendering my CDL A license, because of a notification from Tennessee Department of Safty...Something dealing with Swift School....Now,I am presently employeed by a different company, and have been driving for a couple of years, without any incident. They are stating that I have to be retested, and do everything over again, plus repay...I have until 4/6/09,to appeal the letter,...what would you do in this situation....:biggrin_25516:

    2) Since I am going to have to retest.. I am facing going to court on a speeding ticket I received in my personal car..Once,I get my new license would this show up on them?:biggrin_25510:..I was wondering....:biggrin_25512:
    3) Do you know of any reasonable school,to retrain with?..I had a hard time getting in Swift School, cause of a felony on my record(GTA,when I was 18y/o)...And,I can't afford the 2,900...I am presently working at another trucking company, now

    .
This has been an ongoing issue with CDL's given out at their Millington location. Having to do with illegal testing and License issuing.

Most if not all drivers are being notified, to retest.

You will have to retest, although many are offering to let you do so at no cost. You'll have to go by what's in your letter.

The ticket you got, would go on any CDL you hold. Present or future.

Get a new CDL, the appeal date is 2 years old.

I don't think you'd have to retrain, just retest. Contact your DMV and see what you need to do to get a CDL. I would guess you'd have to do a written test, pretrip, backing, and road test. Would your new company let you use their truck? If not, you could possibly rent one for a day to test in.

We're not really the ones you should be asking. Get info from the people who know.

There is an attorney in Memphis that has a lawsuit against Swift for this. I'll PM you with his name.

oh man everything about that just blows. I don't know but it seems like you should just have to retest your written, why your road test ? I guess the bright side is that after 2 years none of it should be a problem, just a major pain in the ###
