I was just yankin' yer chain...I seen it was inside a conestoga, and you said 12 lbs, probably 3 bungee straps on one side woulda done it. I always wanted one of them wagons, don't have to secure anything at all, just close the sides and go...like closing the back doors on a freight box...
I never really worried much about what was on the wagon until I started hauling steel...

did trench boxes today.
The place needs a 4x27' box right away so I go and get that and deliver it. (yeah yeah, i forgot to take a pic for you guys)
And then pick up a 10x27' to bring back. (cuz curfew runs until 9am for oversize)
and then bring back yet some more stuff 10x10 boxes and other stuff (that totally would have fit with the 4x27' but they would have had to wait an extra hour, god forbid)

Delivering top cap rebar sections to the wall in San DiegoPoleCrusher, D.Tibbitt, booley and 6 others Thank this. -
today's stuff
3x7x8' wide concrete boxes. about 19k lbs each. Turns out that trailer is a stretch step deck. I didn't even know we had these (it was a preload). heavy as heck. interesting trailer though.
switch trailers to a regular step deck then get more boxes for a different preload tomorrow. at 9:30am. (no this makes no sense to me either). 6x8x7' wide. tall, about 22k each.
then go of and get some 10' pre-fab wall panels. yeah, that's the entire street. you have to offset back onto what used to be the sidewalk. -
