How did you not have control over the trailers weight? Big yellow sign CAT SCALE.

 

OK I sign up for the discussion board after Melton fired my husband who has been driving trucks for 20 plus years for different companies around the states. He got one speeding ticket that he is fighting so that it will not be on his record and because of this they let him go. Yes he did get a ticket but that should not be a reason to fire him everyone will get a ticket one time in their life time. Also he wasn't getting long hauls just a lot of short hauls while he was working for them. What bites my butt is they wanted him to sign a paper saying he quit HELLLO noone is going to quit a job with it being so hard to get a job. So do any of you know a good company that he can apply for one that isn't like melton one that is respectfull to its drivers?

 

Well,I am going to change the subject a little bit.For some reason,I hardly ever bump into Melton drivers at shipper"s or receiver"s,but I see plenty on the road.I must have talked to at least 50 on the C.B.,and not a 1 had anything bad to say..I posted almost the same thing this morning on a TMC thread. Just trying to figure this all out.

 

Could be because a large majority are B S'ers.Most of them are making big money and getting plenty of miles regardless of the company they work for.I was playing dominoes on Pogo the other day,I just so happen to be playing some guy that told me he was an O/O,working for Dallas Mavis.He was telling me that he made $4,500.00-$5,ooo.oo every week.I ask what agent he was pulling for.He said he was out of OK city.I said,Oh your hauling for Debbie.He left the game real quick.

 

Posted close to what I posted ? Like they are going to say something bad about a company on a CB where everyone can hear it. That would be stupit
