    i got a dwi back on march 10th 2008
i pled guilty to reckless driving march 12 2009
i live in texas and the reckless driving is in louisiana
it is a recless that i can esponge after 1 year of unsupervised probation
it has not shown up on my driving record yet and i was thinking about going with schneider mainly because they seem to one of the few companies that will only charge me 500 bucks for school because i already have a class a
i am still kind of worried that they may find the reckless before i can esponge it
is there any company that would give me a job if i tell them whats going on?

i am in houston i think schieder is in dallas
i wanted to go with them because they will send me to get a physical here in houston before getting me a bus ticket

sometimes i do not pass the physical because i have a artificial heart valve

i just called schneider and they are not hiring any unexperienced drivers at this moment

so i need to find a good company that will give me a physical before a bus ticket and that wont make me go through class room and charge me 5,000 for school because i already have a class A

With a DUI and a reckless driving on your record, you will be hard pressed to find anyone thay will hire you.. With the thousands of drivers out there with perfect driving records, you will be at the bottom of the list.. And trust me they will find out no matter how far back it goes..

i should of said that i only have the 1 reckless
the dui was knocked down to a reckless and put under special provision so that it will disapear after i complete 1 year of probation

so at the most i have another 10 and a half months if it does show up until it is gone and my record is perfect agian

my lawyer said that it might not ever show up becuase by the time they add it to my record he wil be wiping it off

but i what i really wanted to know is if there is another good company like schnieder
for a local physical before i get on a bus and that will charge me less for having a class a with no experience

or in 6 or 7 months i might start looking into a loan for truck driving school

i think i saw companies offering tanker jobs to drivers right out of school

anyone know a company that would let me drive a truck and stay close to houston or stay inside texas/louisiana fresh out of school?

Your going to have to lower your standards.. There is no way a tanker co. can hire someone with those black marks on their record. Especialy haz mat..

You look at driving a dump truck, cement mixer, containers? Ya might have better luck??

Are you kidding? If you get in an accident in a CMV with that kind of record, ANY trucking company can kiss their investment goodbye - the lawyers will have a field day with them. Hell will freeze over before anyone in their right mind will hire you to drive for them.

Don't go to orientation with Schneider - you're wasting your time and their money. They will find out about the charges when the do a deeper look into your MVR. In any case, if you are hired, you will have to report the convictions and will be fired. At that point you have also violated federal law.

    Find a different career.

And don't lie about it. Trucking companies check more then your DMV record. They do criminal back ground checks that will show everything you have been charged with and the out come. It will show up and when it dose if you didn't tell them to begin with then it's game over. You would be better off looking into a non-driving career.

    doubledragon5 Thanks this.

It will probably be on your MVR for 7-years through companies such as USIS/DAC which most motor carriers use for MVR records unless Louisiana completely expunges their records of the incident in violation of the federal requirements. However the federal rules do not allow for an expunged record for any CDL holder. If Louisiana completely removes it in violation of the federal rules they stand to lose a bunch of federal subsidies though.
