The air conditioner is a window unit so the hot air is vented out the back like it would be in a house/ residential application.

I have a stand up unit. I put a hole in the floor with a dryer vent cover. Hose is permanently attached to it with insulated hose. Been this way for 3 years no problem. Works perfectly %95 of the time. On the hottest nights of the year I just idle. Maybe 3 nights a year? But I run Midwest mostly.

What about directing the exhaust pipe under the truck to the rear drive axle, or maybe right under the truck frame all the way to the back.

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Haven't been on here in a while...

I wouldn't want it at ground level simply because if the air is still, the fumes hang around. Small gas engines like that put out a metric #### ton of CO—like 1200 ppm. You never know when someone will park next to you with their windows open, or their air intake is too close to your exhaust.
