Just pulled into the inspection bay line in WVC, this is why I'm happy that I haven't been here in awhile.

    ####, I killed the thread.

Well I will be here until Monday morning, so if you happen to come across a white Volvo with a #88 plate on the grill thats me. I should be easy to find, just look for a # 88 hat.

Nah its just been quiet on here!

JJ and Aaron will be back there on Wednesday I'm hoping for Aaron to upgrade and for JJ to catch a load home for his home time.

If you see a white volvo with a tag on the grill that says forget hell that would be 1bad! He is trying to get loaded in miami he has to have it in Ky by 8 am on tuesday morning. This is gonna be a very tight delivery time.

Hey newtruckerwidow....here's a little something that might give you a giggle. I am here at a laundromat and there is a young couple...in front of me....just a kissing and a hugging and playing some major touchy-feely games. Do you think I should tell them that my husband is a new trucker and has been gone for awhile and that I am just a little bit lonely and chomping at the bit?!?!?

Just thought this would make you laugh for a bit...... the days are a little bit too long and the weather's just a tad too gloomy.:biggrin_25521:

    HI FOLKS!
Finally made it to the Ramada!! To say the terminal is a little rustic would be the understatement of the evening. The instructors call it the VIP suite. We called it the rock. LOL!

Fozzy, You have missed one heck of a week. Sorry you got the boot brother. That's what we get for being honest.:biggrin_25513: We are down to 16 people this week. I have a feeling that number will be 13 or 14 by friday. Good Luck to ya Ken!!

Any one thinking of coming to Central be prepared and grab a CDL manual from your DMV and start reading it. You will want to read Gen. Knowledge, Combination Vehicles and Air Brakes. If you read those chapters a couple of times you will be good to go. The class is very fast paced and if you study before you get here you will be glad you did. You test for your permit on Wed. morn at 900 am. So you basically learn the book in 2 day's. Well I have some people wanting to use the computer so I am going to sign off for tonight. I will check in tommorrow night.

Brickman, I will look for the 88 hat. Hopefully we can meet before you split. I will be the student with the Green Bay Packer shirt on.
    See Ya Later!!

Centrals rule is that drivers are paid to drive. They do not want us to waste our hours loading and unloading trucks. They pay lumpers for that.
I worked for Central for a year and a half or so, I never touched a load.
I did have to throw away a few cases of product that was refused a time or two. But that was about it. And heck, if you are not in a hurry, you can sell the refused product, as long as it is not a meat load.
