    Hey there Everyone,

    Coming to you from sunny Florida!! Wife of a truck driver and proud to be:biggrin_25526: Kids are all grown and gone so we are thinkin of becoming a team on the road but not sure where to start or if its even possible. I have never driven anything bigger then a van so any advice would be SOOOOO appreciated:)

    Thanks for the welcome. We are in the dreaming stage right now and looking at all the pros and cons. Hard to know how to get started so I was hoping this site would help since there are so many knowledgable people on here.

    welcome to the site. First you start off by getting youre permit and geting trained for the driving test so you can get youre actual cdl.

    Thanks Boosted, I hear people talking about going to school is that something I have to do? I'm close friends with my husbands boss. If he allowed me to be trained by my husband in one of his trucks is that a possiblity? I know what your talking about with the CDL but what permit are you referring to?
