Whats the smoothest riding FreightShaker? You ask? A parked one....

Sorry but that was too easy.
Is there really a difference between models? The only real difference that would affect ride would be type of suspension and wheelbase. Although there maybe some difference in the set-up of the cab ride from model to model. I'd say best bet is to test drive... -
I don't think freightshaker makes one....

A Volvo.
I have driven a few Volvos, nd the rid and quiteness are hard to beat. I have seen some problems with some of the displays and switches, the other things I don't know about.
I am looking at a 2003 660 myself. I can do almost all maintenance myself. I am limited by not having a full garage to do all work, but I can fix most things that I can lift or get to. That might be a plus on my side as fara getting one.
I am really interested in knowing exactly what electrical problems, and other problems Volvos are having before I decide to buy one.
There are an awful lot of them in fleets for them to be so bad, so I just don't know the real story. I am more interested in quiteness, ride, room, and fuel mileage than name.
The company I drive for has a lot of newer Petes, and a few IHs with over one million miles. The drivers most all want the million mile IHs over the newer Petes. Names don't mean much to me. Give me something I like instead. The Challenger Thanks this. -
The smoothest riding truck I ever drove was a 95' FLD 112 and I've drove most of the makes out there and some that ain't anymore. Then again I've drove some rough riding FLD 112's and 120's so I'd say you can't know how smooth a truck is going to ride untill you ride it. I once drove two Identical single axle, air ride 379 petes back to back and the ride quality was night and day. One was a pretty good riding truck while the other was one of the worst riding trucks I ever drove and you couldn't tell them apart but for the truck number. I personally care nothing about ride quality long as I can keep my hands on the wheel but I'm young so that could change on of these days.
