go get a good amp... palomar, texas star etc...

Go get somebody who knows what they are doing to hook it up and you will be good to go.

You really shouldn't amplify your CB signal... it's not very nice, you could be stepping on someone and not even know it. You can be heard from farther away.. but you can't hear them unless they have shoes.

Think about it as screaming to someone who can only whisper..:biggrin_1square5:

Same in Atlanta sometimes...if you do use a linear, learn to use it. Like only when you need it, and shut it off when you don't.
    And please, NOT for horsecrap.

I was lookin at building my own linear for awhile. Til I looked up the price for a pair of NTE335's for the final drive. 140 each at mouser.

Well, TBH, I run about 30w of swing, and I turn on my amp about 4x a year when someone ticks me off or I want to hit someone I hear way out in the bushes; otherwise, it's just not been needed.
